How refunds work at NexusVM

Refund Policy

Prorated refunds only

Refunds are only available for Minecraft hosting and VPS/VDS/Dedicated Servers. Refunds cover only the unused portion of your billing cycle and exclude GST.

Services covered

  • Minecraft Hosting
  • VPS / VDS Services
  • Dedicated Servers

Eligibility

  • Minecraft Hosting: Refund requests must be raised within 14 days of purchase.
  • VPS / VDS / Dedicated Servers: Refund requests must be raised within 24 hours of purchase.
  • No refunds are issued after the specified timeframe for any service.

Non-refundable

  • GST charges
  • Transactions under ₹150 (billing credits may be issued)

Refund Restrictions

  • No refunds for suspended or terminated services: Refunds are not available if the service is suspended or terminated for abuse, ToS violations, or security violations.
  • No refunds after chargebacks: Refunds are void if a chargeback or dispute has been initiated.
  • Refund must be requested BEFORE cancellation: Refund requests must be submitted before requesting service cancellation. Refunds cannot be processed after the service is deleted.
  • Discounted or promotional purchases are non-refundable: Payments made using coupons, promo codes, or discounts are not eligible for monetary refunds (credit only).
  • Upgrades cannot be refunded: Refunds for upgrades (RAM, storage, CPU, bandwidth, etc.) are issued only as account credits.
  • Used or consumed services: Refunds are not available once a service has been fully used or consumed.

How unused-days refunds are calculated

Refund amount = (Plan Price ÷ Total Days in Cycle) × Unused Days

Only the remaining days are refunded. Days already used are not eligible.

Example

30-day plan, refund requested on day 10 → refund covers the remaining 20 unused days (days 11–30) based on the formula above.

Refund method

Refunds are issued to your original payment method, or to billing credits if you prefer.

Processing timelines depend on your bank or payment provider.
